2011 Rule Cheat Sheet
- Batting
- All bats kept at dugout entrance.
- 3 female spots in the batting order.
- Female - 3 strikes (mat only) = OUT, any 3 balls = option walk.
- Male - 2 strikes (plate and mat) = OUT, 3 consecutive balls = option walk.
- Maximum 7 runs in any half inning before 3 outs.
- Maximum 1 home run (over fence) differential between the teams at any time during the game, otherwise
counts as a ground rule single.
- No bunting
- Baserunning
- NO sliding
- Orange safety bag at first and second base is for the base runner; the white bag is for the base player.
- Safety zone at home plate: the base runner cannot touch the home plate.
- Contact between base runner and defensive player = OUT.
- Fielding
- 3 females spots in the field.
- Infielders on infield dirt, outfielders no closer than halfway between homeun fence and infield dirt.
- A foul ball caught by the catcher is NOT an out.
- The catcher can make a play on a fair ball, i.e. caught = OUT.
- One of the Thursday teams must pick up the equipment from Tuesday's game for Thursday's game. See schedule!
- Team playing on Thursday and following Tuesday - take the equipment with you.
